Mission Driven
A flexible mental performance program for athletes, military and veterans, teams, and coaches. One workshop, a short series, or a full eight sessions — built around a process you keep.
What you leave with
Not a folder of slides. A process.
Every participant builds an MVP — Mission, Vision, Principles — a written, personal system they return to weekly, review monthly, and reset every season.
Who do I want to become?
- The person you want to be, not just the athlete
- Your values, named in your own words
- Long-term goals and this quarter’s goals
- Goals across family, school or work, health, and character
- Your definition of success, beyond wins, stats, playing time, or approval
This is the part that builds an identity that outlasts the sport.
How do I get there?
- The calendar: when and where the work actually happens
- An honest assessment of where you need to get better — physical, technical, tactical, mental, lifestyle, relationships
- The habits moving you toward your mission
- The habits working against you, and what replaces them
- What you can do today to close the gap
Vision isn’t a daydream about the future. It’s the route drawn on the map.
How do I stay on track?
- The standards you hold when you don’t feel like it
- Your non-negotiables
- Your reset when pressure rises — breath, grounding, a cue, a routine
- Your awareness signals: green, yellow, red
- What you do when you fall short
What participants build
- Better performance
- Through intentional preparation instead of hope.
- Leadership
- Grounded in self-awareness and clear standards.
- Time management
- Structure that supports sport and life at the same time.
- Goal setting
- Turning vision into controllable daily action.
- A tangible process
- One they own and can return to for the rest of their career.
Progress isn’t built in one game, one session, or one breakthrough.
It’s built through reflection, adjustment, and repeated action. Week after week. Brick by brick.
The revisit rhythm
Vision check
Did the calendar hold? Which habits ran? Where did pressure expose a gap — and what tool closed it, or was needed?
Principles review
Am I holding my standards, or have they become words on a page? What needs adjusting — the principle, the habit, or the environment?
Mission reset
Are these still my goals? Am I becoming who I said I wanted to become, and what’s the evidence?
Individual clarity, collective standards
Every athlete builds an individual MVP. The group builds a shared team mission, vision, and principles.
Individual clarity plus collective standards creates shared language — the kind that shows up in practice, in the fourth quarter, and after a loss. Not just in the room where the workshop happened.
You get your own MVP
Who you want to be for this athlete, how you’ll get there, and the standards you hold when the stakes are high.
The education covers language and support — what to say after a loss, when to wait, how to talk about playing time or selection, and how your own state shapes theirs.
Because the athlete is watching how you handle pressure before they hear a word you say.

Mental performance coaching, not therapy
Mind Moves Performance provides mental performance coaching and education. It is not clinical mental health treatment or psychotherapy. That distinction matters — and so does this one: because Andrew is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, he can recognize when something falls outside performance coaching and make an informed referral or recommendation. Most performance coaches can’t.
